Inter-Planetary File System

The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a decentralized protocol for peer-to-peer storage and sharing of hypermedia in a distributed file system. Using content-addressing, IPFS identifies files by content, enhancing security and transparency. Pocket Labs uses IPFS for secure storage solutions, allowing users to store and access data without centralized servers, improving data integrity, availability, and enabling verification of authenticity and provenance.

Peers power the IPFS system, built on top of the Libp2p protocol.
